In this issue of Cercle: Listen to me, look at me! It's an injunction, I impose myself on your eyes. I exist and I want you to know it. I adorn myself in my finest attire. I expand with a few more pages, I deliver myself in several languages to parade under your fingers, throughout this new layout. I want to seduce you, claim my identity, be your chosen one and experience a moment of jubilation with you. Without your gaze, without the attention of others, parades have no meaning. I build cities, states, I dance, I parade, I charm, I draw and I adorn myself, I show myself. Do you see my social status, my power, my abilities? What use would this decorum be without witnesses? If these external signs can mark an individuality, they are also markers of collective belonging and creators of social bonds. This is what makes all the complexity and beauty of the thing. Let us parade together, happy and proud to exist. Let us parade so that everyone has the right to exist.
