Famous for My Dinner Parties Magazine - Issue 2

August Magazine
Famous For My Dinner Parties is a magazine and platform that celebrates, portrays, questions, and discusses different aspects of culture around food and eating.
Issue 002, famous for its dinner parties, is small and cute, but it's bigger than issue 001 in every important way: At 100 pages, it has more contributors, more articles, more photos and illustrations. This time, the issue is structured around a single theme: food fashion. Because, like it or not, food fashions say a lot about our identity, our cultures and societies, how we see others, and what we want for ourselves. The cultural analysis approach of Famous for My Dinner Parties , with a touch of humor and lightness, is the perfect way to approach food fads - because they are often as ridiculous as they are serious.
Created by Sandra Mayer-Myrtenhain, Yannic Moeken and Junshen Wu. Design by Lind Haugaard. Illustrations by Eilis Dart and Gemma Wilson, additional photography by Kenneth Lam. Texts by Celina Baljeet Basra, Aida Baghernejad, Anna Broujean, Jonas Borchers, Kavita Goodstar, Suyin Haynes, Alex Kil, Chris O'Leary and Sarmistha Pantham.
